| Purpose & Membership . . .The purpose and objectives of the Lake
Burton Civic Association are to promote and maintain the interests and concerns of Lake
Burton residents in discovering and resolving mutual problems regarding safety,
protection, road maintenance and anything else that affects the welfare of the residents.
LBCA was founded in 1968, with membership now over 900. Each property owner and lease holder is encouraged to join. The membership meets twice a year — in June and August. Other functions are announced by mail. Annual dues are $75. A membership includes two adults, husband and wife, in the same family who are homeowners on Lake Burton. Adult co-owners, other than spouses, are considered to be separate families for membership purposes. |
