Wow! To complete this "stunt", Lee Penland's group actually had eight total skiers who alternated because the water was so rough the skiers became tired. Skiers pictured here are:  left to right, "old man" Lee Penland, Alex Robbie,  Lauren Penland, Kerry Shay, and Chandler Van de Water.  Also participating, but not included in this picture, were:  Katie Kelly Penland, Leah Penland, and Kelsey Anderson.  Says Lee:  "Most of the time all five skiers would get up, but staying up was another matter. The water was so rough that there were many falls. Getting the ropes untangled and the skiers lined up for the next start would average at least 10 minutes.  For each time we went out five skiers would start and two would make it home (the old man and Chandler). It was great fun with people on their boathouses waving and taking pictures and boats following along with us."  You've set the bar, Lee!
